Construction of GPP complex and development of field infrastructure of Kandim group of fields. Railway transport
Kandim group of gas fields is located in the territory of Karakul district in Bukhara region of the Republic, not far from the border with Turkmenistan. The key features of Kandim project implementation include adverse climatic conditions and high concentration of hydrogen sulphide in natural gas, which necessitates strict compliance with regulatory and technical requirements in force in Uzbekistan, as well as with the respective international standards during designing, construction and operation of Kandim gas treatment plant.
The plans for development of Kandim group of fields provide for a package of works aimed at creation of unique production facility, which will include: more than 100 gas producers; gas collection system of more than 400 km long; gas processing plant with capacity of 8,1 billion m3/ year; export gas pipeline of more than 70 km long; railway track of 48 km long; outside motor roads of 120 km long; water supply facilities, including pipelines of 90 km long; external power supply facilities (high voltage transmission lines 220 kV, substation 220/ 110/ 35 kV); gas turbine electric power station with capacity exceeding 80 mW; shift camp for 1380 people; central operations service base; stock tanks and product loading terminal; treatment works; booster compression stations.
The target date of the first line of GPP launching – 2016.
